Very friendly staff! Good large portions of great tasting home-cooked food for your money. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.

So good! The potato skins are the best!

The service was lacking some. Very slow even though they weren't busy at all. The food was just average. My neighbor could have been making it. The fried mushrooms had more breading than mushroom, so it was all you really tasted. The Italian Grinder I had, didn't have much flavor except for the onion. And the chips tasted right out of a Ruffles bag. Wasn't awful, just not anything I'd go back for. Because half the restaurant is smoking allowed and it isn't partitioned, if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke or have asthma, you don't want to eat here. It bothered me the entire time. I noticed it as soon as we walked in the front door.

Perfect place to eat! Amazing food...I mean never got a bad meal there! Great portions, great reasonable prices. Great service. Great atmosphere. Casual dress...feel at home there. We go EVERY week for date night. Love the choice of smoking section or not!

Went for dinner one evening and got a seat right away. We ordered our drinks and food. We waited forever to get our salads. After asking for them again, the waitress brought them and then informed me that the salads were supposed to come after the appetizers... However after waiting another 20 minutes the appetizers finally came... To our disappointment, the appetizers were mediocre at best. The dinner finally came, and it was decent food... The steak was a little fatty, but fair... Would have given 4 stars, but service was awful.....

Food was good, but nothing spectacular. Service was horrible. The waitress was rude and it took 40 minutes to get our food. I did not realize any restaurants allowed smoking any more, but this one does. Despite having a non smoking section everything smelled of cigarettes.

I was hesitant to come here. Their food is wonderful and the service is very friendly. I got the fried chicken, and it's very obvious that they make it from scratch. Their mashed potatoes also. I will definitely be back.

The existence of this place still baffles me. How is it so good? The hamburger buns are fresh baked in-house. What kind of small town greasy spoon would put that much effort for such a tiny detail? The old fashioned double cheeseburger is the best burger you can find in a 250 mile radius. I drive to Buffalo, MO for the sole purpose of eating this burger. That pretentious, overwrought embarrassment that is Black Sheep can get rekt. Come here and eat the best hamburger in Southwest Missouri. They do still allow smoking in here, so getting it to-go isn't a bad option. However, don't let that deter you.

The food and the service are very good

This is an incredibly good place to strap on the feed bag. They have a wide selection of foods, and they are well prepared. The staff are all friendly and offer good suggestions on dishes. I had the ribs, honestly if they weren't the best I'd ever had they were close. Would love to return here and try something else on their menu.

The food was good the service not so much. I had one waitress that had a little bit of an attitude But the other waitresses was Pleasant and friendly. So I guess it depends on which way to she get. I can't recommend because of the bad service

Our family really enjoys this establishment. I believe the prices are reasonable and the food and service is excellent. I have never had a problem with the place and I often recommend this location to my friends.

Very good restaurant with a long history located in downtown Buffalo. You will not be disappointed if you give them a try.

Found this place as we were heading North. What a great find! My husband had the KC Strip, it was cooked to perfection and so juicy. I had the Chicken Alfredo, all I can say is "wow"!!!! I have never had alfredo that good. Our server Lois was absolutely wonderful. She was super busy and still made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure to have short conversations to find out about us and make us feel welcome. We will be back for sure!

Best blu cheese in town .. Good food enuf to fill you up .clean environment cozy casual ..the owner is a main stay in this town definitely is ther to understand and employ people who could use a second chance ... Also love the strawberry daqaries & the long island ice tea this is a must on the list of wher to eat in buffalo mo.

The Chef, (as in graduate of culinary arts) makes his own breads daily. All fresh meats, never frozen. A killer menu with great variety and not your run of Mill recipes. Desserts are made fresh daily. Try the chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Generous portions too.

Thanksgiving dinner at the Maple Street Grill is more than a tradition, it is a True Community event. Great food, friends and atmosphere!

The food here was good but the time it took to get it was rather slow. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I thought it was a little on the pricey side but then again I don't usually price 1/2 pound burgers🙂

About the best place to eat in Buffalo, so grab a bite in Springfield before you head North.

Had taco platter but refried beans didn't taste like they were fresh.

The food was better than expected. Although they have a smoking and nonsmoking section the smoke can be overwhelming. If not for that I would have given them 5 🌟.

Went in for our first visit late afternoon today. Fantastic waitress, so friendly and helpful! Great menu, a variety of food offered. We had the KC skins, potato skins with bits of brisket. So very good! My husband had the beef enchiladas and he enjoyed them as much as his fav Mexican restaurant. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very good! You actually got a real serving of mashed potatoes, so good and the green beans were different and also very good! I'm not big on biscuits of any type but the biscuit they served with my meal was the best biscuit I have ever had anywhere! It was almost like a hot rolls, so perfect. I feel the prices are reasonable and will definitely be going back! We just returned from KC a couple of days ago and we were very disappointed in most the food we had while there! And we are from that area.

Some of the best food I've eaten in the area. This was my 4th visit and each time I'm impressed. The Reuben and the burgers are great. I love the buns they have.

As usual no place can cook a steak correctly. i ordered it rare it come out almost well done .

the food was alright, but didnt just blow my socks off. i had the smoked brisket dinner. salad was good, mash potatoes were alright, but the brisket was far to tough for my liking. good service
